Paw Pose Rescue UK was set up to help rehome dogs from Hungary. They believe that every dog deserves a chance of a happy home – no matter what their background or circumstances. Most of their rescue dogs come from kill shelters, which means a rescue is often their only chance of survival.

So, in May 2021, we spotted  a lovely little cross breed on the charity’s social media pages Facebook and Instagram and we decided to give him a happy home. In a little over a week, after a thorough home check and a few safety improvements in our garden (raised fences etc) we welcomed Milo to our home.

For three months he had the most wonderful adventure with us, a big garden to run around in, camping in the New Forest, untold walks, treats and cuddles from our daughters and even a furry friendship with my parent’s dog.

Sadly, the adjustment to home life for Milo with us just wasn’t to be. Heart breaking as it was, we said goodbye and he has since been rehomed with new fosters. We miss him but we have fond memories, and we’re glad we helped him on his journey.

A dog is for life, not just for Christmas, and so what could be more fitting than for the jellybean 12 days of Christmas campaign to support Paw Pose so that they can continue to save dogs lives and promote animal welfare.
